(from event page) Announcing a FREE live webinar to discuss how to incorporate the practice of mindfulness into substance abuse treatment with adolescents and young adults! This webinar will include actionable, pragmatic, and concrete ways to teach mindfulness and other self-regulation skills, build trust, and support adolescents and young adults with substance use disorders and related struggles (i.e., trauma, family conflict, impulsiveness, violence, etc.).
If you’re a substance abuse counselor, social worker, psychologist, therapist, educator, case manager, mentor, or really any type of professional who works directly with substance-use impacted youth, this webinar is for you.
