by National Center for Complex Health and Social Needs

(from event page) Every community has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and ensuing effects on the economy and available resources. Rural and frontier environments across the country are not immune to these issues. The pandemic has exacerbated existing barriers to care for individuals with complex needs in these areas including physical distance, limited telephone or internet access, and sparse community resources.

This webinar will feature speakers from Cherokee Health Systems in Tennessee and Hill Country Health and Wellness Center in California to discuss how their care models address barriers to healthcare in their respective rural and frontier areas. They will also share how they have adapted their practices in response to COVID-19 and considerations for the future.
