(from event page) Elevate Recovery Advocacy is the Washington Recovery Alliance’s signature public policy and media engagement program. It is more than a training—it is the foundation of a statewide recovery movement.

To accommodate public health concerns and to protect the health of our statewide recovery community, the WRA is hosting our 2021 Elevate trainings through an ALL-VIRTUAL FORMAT!

At Elevate, you will learn:
-How to tell your recovery story in a way that drives change
-The legislative process at different levels of government
-How to persuade a policymaker
-How to work with the media
-How to take action and be part of the recovery movement

This training is offered at no cost to you by the Washington Recovery Alliance with support from the Washington State Health Care Authority Office of Recovery Partnerships.
Registration is required: https://forms.gle/uRcoFTPPU1jeeFWt6. After registering, a link to join the virtual meeting through Zoom will be sent to you (about 1 week before the event).
