(from event page) Our communities are facing stress, loneliness, job and business loss, and financial challenges. King County Behavioral Health and Recovery Division, in collaboration with Public Health Seattle & King County’s COVID Response is offering trainings for adult and youth-serving community leaders and members, as well as social service providers. Participants will learn about mental health and how to support their community on issues related to emotional wellbeing and substance use. Certificates will be issued to each participant who completes the training.
The 6-hour Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) skills-based training is FREE and will be led by Valley Cities Counseling staff.
Youth Mental Health First Aid-English
2 Hour self-paced session- Wed, June 24, 2020 (this can be done any time during the 24 hour period of June 24th)
4 Hour instructor led session- Thurs, June 25, 2020. (12:30 pm-5:30pm)
