(from event page) In July and August, the Aligning Systems for Health team at the Georgia Health Policy Center reviewed and synthesized learnings about aligning across sectors from the past year. This evaluation highlighted the importance of four adaptive factors, including power dynamics, community voices, trust, and equity. Register now for the third in a four-part series exploring these adaptive factors.
Although the word equity is used more and more often these days, equity is more than a buzz word.
How do you know equity when you see it? How well are people impacted by the decision-making included in the process? What does data tell you about how people who have been historically marginalized are doing? Is that data transparently shared? Answering these questions builds a common understanding of equity.
This session will support movement from equity talk to equity actions, using the RACE for Equity Approach to make measurable improvements for people and communities.
Featuring: Deitre Epps, CEO and founder of RACE for Equity, a global management consulting firm that builds the capacity of leaders, organizations, and communities to use data to make decisions that advance diversity, equity and inclusion.
