Connecting to Care – How to Leverage Quitlines to Better Support Your Clients
(from event page) Tobacco users are at increased risk of severe complications from COVID-19, making the need for effective tobacco cessation programs more urgent during the current pandemic, especially among individuals with behavioral health conditions.
Tobacco quitlines offer a valuable population-based tool to motivate tobacco cessation, including vaping, and decrease disparities among people living with mental illness and addictions. But too many providers lack the information and skills needed to integrate quitline referrals into their practice.
Join us on Monday, June 8 from 2-3 p.m. ET for Connecting to Care – How to Leverage Quitlines to Better Support Your Clients, a webinar presented by the National Behavioral Health Network for Tobacco and Cancer Control, the Behavioral Health and Wellness Program and the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, the Smoking Cessation Leadership Center at UCSF and the National Center of Excellence for Tobacco-Free Recovery.
A diverse panel of tobacco cessation and telehealth care management experts will explore ways to integrate quitlines into your tobacco cessation programming. Learn more.
